Police officers escorting President Trump’s motorcade were involved in an accident on Tuesday during the president’s trip to Louisiana.
By the looks of it some of the officers may have sustained serious injuries. But Trump’s limousine was unaffected.
What caused the incident was unclear.

I saw 3 officers down on Interstate 10 near Lake Charles as Trump motorcade headed to Hackberry.
One in grassy ditch, sitting up. One flat on his back on highway shoulder, bleeding. A third standing up, bleeding from his arm.
Our whole side of highway was closed to traffic. pic.twitter.com/LAFvIlmwww

Trump continued continued on to an event at a Cameron LNG Export Facility in Hackberry to promote energy infrastructure and economic growth.
The accident occurred on Interstate 10 moments before the motorcade crossed a bridge spanning Lake Charles.
