President Trump’s shipping John Bolton off to Outer Mongolia while he paid a surprise visit to Kim Jong-Un and took historic steps into North Korean territory was a very smart move and a good way to re-start stalled bi-lateral and trilateral talks. Bureaucrats and Beltwayites were furious that they were made irrelevant by the president’s personal diplomacy and the Democratic presidential candidates were only interested in making political points.
