The budget deficit for fiscal 2020 has surged over $3 trillion, but nobody really seems to care.
That’s more than twice the previous budget deficit record set back in 2009 at the height of the Great Recession. Back then, Obama was president and Republicans threw a fit. Today, Trump is in the White House and they want more spending. It’s the height of hypocrisy.
