President Joe Biden’s nominee for secretary of the interior, New Mexico Rep. Deb Haaland, once led a company that profited from the generation of fossil fuels.

Prior to joining Congress in 2018, Haaland served as the chairwoman for a company that operates a transmix plant that generates 50,000 gallons of fuel per day.
