New York Times columnist Paul Krugman recently expressed a rosy view over news that the US had experienced its slowest population growth rate since the Great Depression over the last decade.
“In a world of limited resources and major environmental problems there’s something to be said for a reduction in population pressure,” the the Nobel Prize-winning economist opined.
