Albert was convicted of a non-violent drug offense in 1994 and sentenced to 440 months. On the show Albert goes into the details of how the case and sentencing played out. He was convicted and sentenced based on drug sales made by his co-defendants to an informant. Albert had no direct sales to the informant, but ended up being guilt by association. Albert was released April 12th 2019 after serving 26 years
