Scottie Andrew and Homero De la Fuente wrote Saturday at CNN that three California Major League Baseball teams — the Los Angeles Dodgers, the San Diego Padres, and the San Francisco Giants — have set aside special sections of their stadiums for people who can prove they are two weeks past taking the full regimen of experimental coronavirus vaccine shots, as well as children under 16 who can prove they tested negative for coronavirus within the previous 72 hours.
Experimental coronavirus vaccine shots are not yet available for children under 16. But, pharmaceutical companies and the United States government are working hard on preparing to roll out such shots for this segment of the population for whom the risk of major sickness or death from coronavirus is nearly zero.
