My guest today is Wendy Hechtman. Wendy has a powerful personal story to share, as well as her ongoing fight against the tyranny of the COVID regime to keep non-violent prisoners free.
Wendy was an opiate addict (clean four years now!) which led to a charge of conspiracy to manufacture carfentanil. She served three years in prison, most of which was at Danbury, and will have four years total done at the end of this month. She has 8 years remaining.
Wendy has been out of prison since Dec 2020 thanks to the Cares Act, she’s been working as a property manager for a company that she founded specializes in renting to people with a criminal background
Wendy is also one of the cofounders of dontsendusback.org which is a network by and for people on home confinement to keep them up to date on what’s happening and the effort to #KeepThemHome. As of now, Wendy and many people in her situation are at risk of being sent back to prison when the pandemic is over.

The Lions of Liberty are a group of like-minded individuals, who have come together in an effort to advance the ideas of liberty daily. Marc Clair (Editor-in-chief) has been an ardent believer in libertarian ideals for over a decade, Marc decided to thrust himself into writing for the cause after becoming inspired by the Presidential campaigns of Ron Paul. In 2011, he helped to co-found the Lions Of Liberty with several like-minded friends from their college days at Penn State nearly a decade earlier. When he’s not serving as writer and editor-in-chief of Lions Of Liberty, he is busy with a freelance career in television and running a karaoke business in Los Angeles, CA.
