The U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) announced in a Wednesday release that all Senior National Team players have reached an agreement where both the men and women’s leagues will receive identical pay.
The USSF announcement describes the agreements between the United States Women’s National Team Players Association (USWNTPA) and the United States National Soccer Team Players Association (USNSTPA) as “historic” and “the-first-of-their-kind.” The collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) ensure “equal pay with identical economic terms” for the men and women’s teams for all future competitions, including the FIFA World Cup.
