Steve Dettelbach, President Joe Biden’s nominee to direct the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), claimed during his campaign for attorney general in 2018 that he has “no tolerance” for corruption.

The nominee’s public financial disclosure report to Congress, however, shows he went on to represent individuals who were convicted of committing various fraud and bribery schemes.
