That’s what the White House press secretary is insisting we believe.
Word is that Joe Biden is frustrated that people aren’t appreciating how strong the economy is. But people are obviously getting crushed in this economy. Gas and food, which are true essentials, are probably the greatest source of pain.
Combine that problem with Americans’ lack of preparedness for emergency situations, and the result is catastrophic for many people.
And even people who are financially comfortable enough to ride out the storm are finding times difficult, if for no other reason than people are really watching their spending, and demand for your goods has been falling.
The point: we need every advantage we can get. That’s always true, but especially so right now.
