Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan is working to remove crucial tax credit restrictions for electric vehicles (EVs) in her party’s tax and spending agreement that could help China, a nation that dominates the EV minerals market, according to Bloomberg.
“Nearly all of those minerals are currently sourced from China, Russia, and other nations,” Mark Mills, energy and tech expert at The Manhattan Institute, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
