Every year, Google reveals its biggest trending search queries over the previous twelve months. Looking at all searches in the UK compared to last year, ‘Coronavirus’ was of course the biggest trending search of 2020.
But, as Statista’s Martin Armstrong shows in the this infographic, there are many signs of how we adapted to life with Covid-19 and lockdowns, with mask, bread and hand sanitiser making popular searches. Let’s also not forget the ‘how to cut your own hair’ part of the year.
