French President Macron Latest World Leader Infected By COVID

Two to French government officials, including French President Emmanuel Macron and PM Jean Castex have tested positive for the coronavirus, even as government data show cases and hospitalizations are finally beginning to recede.
According to Reuters, Mr Macron has canceled all upcoming trips, including a planned visit to Lebanon, and his office is working to trace all contacts the president may have had in recent days.
Macron was diagnosed after experiencing symptoms, according to the Elysée Palace in a statement on Thursday. The president will isolate himself for seven days and “will continue to work and carry out his activities remotely”.
