GOP Launches Voter Mobilization Effort At Gas Stations As ‘Pump Pains’ Leave Hole In Americans’ Wallets
The Republican National Committee (GOP) has revealed a new voter mobilization strategy to win the midterms later this year. They are registering voters at gas stations across the country as Americans pay record-high prices for fuel.
“Don’t like the #BidenGasHike?” Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel tweeted Saturday. “Vote! Republicans are coming to gas stations nationwide to register voters!” she said.

The GOP told Fox News the new voter mobilization effort at gas stations began on Saturday. GOP staff and volunteers registered people to vote at gas stations in Phoenix and Scottsdale metro areas of Arizona, where the price at the pump for regular gasoline soared to $4.60, and diesel is around $5 a gallon. These record-high prices have infuriated drivers as inflationary forces wipe out their wage gains.
“Arizonans are frustrated with paying the record-high gas prices we’ve seen recently, this is an issue that affects almost every single Arizonan,” GOP’s Arizona Communications Director Ben Petersen said.
“There’s no doubt that everyone is feeling the pain at the pump, so a gas station right now may be the very best possible place for one of our volunteers to have a conversation with someone and get someone signed up to vote,” Petersen.
Regular gas prices surpassed the $4 mark earlier this month to a new record high on a national level. The Biden administration’s energy policies, tight supplies, and the conflict in Ukraine have been responsible for soaring prices.
“Under Joe Biden, families are paying more for gas than ever before,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said.
“After killing American energy independence, Biden is turning to our adversaries abroad for America’s energy needs. American families are feeling the pain at the pump, and Biden and the Democrats do not care and are making it worse,” McDaniel.
Elsewhere, GOP activist Scott Presler and other volunteers on Saturday recruited drivers at gas stations across New York City and Long Island to vote Republican in November’s midterm elections.
Presler and others held signs that read: “Pain at the pump? Vote Republican!”
The signs caught the attention of drivers as some made the switch to change their party affiliation based solely on the price of gas.

Presler said, “I spent 7 hours registering voters at a gas station in Manhasset, NY,” on Saturday, adding, “the Democrats are really angry we’re registering voters at gas stations. Bless their hearts.”
Today, I spent 7 hours registering voters at a gas station in Manhasset, NY.
I’m very sleepy & sunburned (😴+🥵), but I’ll be out tomorrow, too.

Today, the activist tweeted he’ll be at another gas station in Manhasset, New York.
I’m awake & ready for more gas station voter registration.
New York voters are strongly opposed to Joe Biden’s gas hike.

As fears of stagflationary conditions increase and crush the working poor, Bloomberg Opinion writers told anyone earning less than $300k (which is a majority of America) to stop driving and take the bus, don’t panic hoard supplies, and stop eating meat.
Inflation stings most if you earn less than $300K. Here’s how to deal:
➡️ Take the bus
➡️ Don’t buy in bulk
➡️ Try lentils instead of meat
➡️ Nobody said this would be fun https://t.co/HGJEoXL5ZZ— Bloomberg Opinion (@bopinion) March 19, 2022
Of course, the tweet got “ratioed” as Bloomberg Opinion writers called for more inflation just months ago.
Essentially, the elites want the middle class to stop complaining…
And to shut up about inflation and …
Elites are also suggesting price controls and dystopian travel restrictions for households so they can manage soaring energy costs.
Bloomberg Opinion’s tweet said, “Nobody said this would be fun.”
