Comedian and political commentator Dave Rubin was locked out of Twitter for defending celebrity clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, who was himself locked out for commenting on gender reassignment surgery and calling actor Elliot Page by original name, Ellen.
“The insanity continues at Twitter. @jordanbpeterson has been suspended for his tweet about Ellen Page. He just told me he will ‘never’ delete the tweet,” Rubin wrote alongside the notification Peterson received about his suspension.
Like what it said about Peterson’s tweet, Twitter said Rubin’s tweet violated its policy on “hateful conduct.”
The tweet that resulted in Peterson’s suspension read, “Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal physician.”
“I have been suspended by Twitter for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson’s tweet which got he himself suspended,” Rubin wrote in a statement.
He added that he was not sure how he violated Twitter’s rules, but it was “clear that they are breaking their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders by letting a bunch of Woke activists run the company.”
“I hope Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter goes through so he can blow up their servers and humanity can move past this pervasive, twisted, self-imposed mental institution.”
