Ireland First, Italy Worst: European Commission Releases GDP Growth Forecasts
The European Commission has released its Autumn 2019 Economic Forecast and it has good news for all EU member states.
As Statista’s Niall McCarthy notes, the European economy is forecast to grow for the seventh year in a row in 2019 with expansion set to occur in every country.

The pace of growth is forecast to be fastest in Ireland at 5.6 percent, followed by 5.0 percent in Malta and 4.6 percent in Hungary.
Italy is going to experience the slowest growth at 0.1 percent.
