The Pentagon said it has “full confidence” in the leader of a working group seeking to root out extremism in the military that once said any supporter of former President Donald Trump unequivocally supports extremism.
The official, Bishop Garrison, said there was “no room for nuance” in a 2019 tweet equating support of Trump to support of extremism.
