The American Federation of Teachers, the second-largest teachers union in the US, aims to bring antiracist education generally — and Kendi’s writings in particular — into the classroom.
In a recent announcement, they write that “the campaign aims to make sure every student has an actively anti-racist, safe and welcoming learning environment, and it will give educators the resources they need to help create it.”
