FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr says the agency should require major tech companies to pay for internet infrastructure, praising a bill introduced by Republican senators mandating the FCC look into charging Big Tech fees.
“We don’t even need to wait for the legislation. We could go ahead and require some of these companies to start contributing right now,” Carr told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
