A majority in the New York State Assembly are voicing support for the impeachment of Gov. Andrew Cuomo after a bombshell report from the state’s Attorney General that validated claims of sexual harassment against him, according to a report.
“It is abundantly clear to me that the Governor has lost the confidence of the Assembly Democratic majority and that he can no longer remain in office,” Carl Heastie, Speaker of the New York State Assembly, said in a statement Tuesday.
