Americans are gambling in record numbers with revenue exceeding $13.6 billion in 2021 and legal gambling legislation in 27 states.
Roughly 2% of the U.S. has some form of gambling addiction and that number is expected to grow, John Norton, a spokesperson from the National Council on Problem Gambling, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
