California’s homeless population has ballooned over the last four years, despite the state spending $30 billion under the helm of Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Even with the huge expenditure, homelessness has continued to rise year after year, with the number of homeless people in the state increasing by almost 10,000 from 2021 to 2022.
